Mananjary Queen Tina cruise

The dream of a lifetime….
07 days & 06 nights
Discovery, simplicity, fraternity and exchanges…
From the salty water of Toamasina, we will make you the visit of the fresh waters, Ranon’ny Manangareza of the Canal des Pangalanes, with a length of 700km where floats the only boat hotel: The Queen Tina. with 04 cabins with private bathrooms, a restaurant located on the deck of the boat, and qualified staff, who will welcome you warmly with professionalism. You will taste the Malagasy, European and Asian specialties prepared by our Chef on board.
The Canal des Pangalanes has a history, its construction dates back to the French colonization, initiated in 1896 by General Gallieni in order to facilitate administrative and military controls of the region.
Gently, to the rhythm of the «mora mora» from Mananjary we will join Tamatave. Vatomandry, a coastal town closer to the capital, where at one time was the closest port to Tanà from which goods were transported on men’s backs through the eastern Malagasy forest. It owes its name to the two large black «sleeping rocks» forming an island with their two coconut trees a hundred meters from the beach.
Ambila Lemaitso, Quiet and green, a small village on the east coast of Madagascar open to the Indian Ocean. Ideally located between the ocean and the Canal des Pangalanes, Ambila Lemaitso also captivates with its lush nature. You will love this little walk between the Canal and the Ocean.
Ankanin’nofy, literally translated as «Dream Nest», at the heart of our program, between lemurs Varecia, Indri Indri, Macaco, canal and ocean, the nature connection is more than perfect.
At the Palmarium, we will meet: The Varecia Variegata, a fascinating lemur, it is the largest of the lemurs after the indri indri still called «babakoto» in Malagasy. Magnificent black and white coat, longer and bushier than the other lemurs. We can photograph them very closely, amateurs or professional photographers, this reserve is essential.
