EXCURSION Nosy Komba & Tanikely

We will start the day at Nosy Komba, a 35-minute boat ride. Nosy Komba culminates at 622m, was once a small volcanic island, located in the north-west of Madagascar, it is the link between the island with perfumes and large land. Covered with a dense and thick tropical forest, it is home to an impressive fauna and flora. A warm welcome, colorful embroidery market, smiles, children’s cries, and talented sculptors, make the Ampangoriana village famous.

A two-hour walk through small animated paths, among old trees and fruit plantations, is nestled in a preserved wild jungle, the little paradise of our little adventurers.

NOSY KOMBA literally translated «the island of lemurs» bears its name, in fact the lemurs eulemur macaco ou maki macaco populate Nosy Komba. Our little pirates will enjoy these unusual encounters with friendly creatures, including the macaque maki, who are the brothers of Sushi & Kaly from the Paris zoo and the Palmarium located in eastern Madagascar. Our moussaillons will also marvel at Dô the arboreal boa of Madagascar the Sanzinia madagascariensis, measuring up to 2 meters, the mantella betsileo of small frogs Mantella, the panther chameleon Furcifer pardalis, and the Brookesia minima, and the Brookesia Stumpffi. We will take the trails to the rhythm of mora mora (very slowly) for the descent.

CAP TO NOSY TANIKELY or «Antanihely» the island of small land, a natural aquarium, a unique marine reserve, a natural aquarium, one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in Madagascar for sea lovers. We will be able to observe a multitude of colorful fish, sea turtles, rays, with a bit of luck dolphins.A didactic and fun day for the whole family.
